He was born September 8, 1989 in Seattle at Swedish Hospital, Cherry Hill. He is the son of Jennifer A. Keat; he was raised by Jennifer and her partner Alvin Noble and Maternal Grandparents Lynn and Rick Keat.
Jamhal played football for the Rainier Eagles and he played with the Broncos LIttle League Baseball and Rainier Community Basketball.
Jamhal attended St. Therese grammar school where he starred in the 8th grade production of the Pirates of Penzance by Gilbert and Sullivan. He attended O'dea High School where he enjoyed playing basketball and football.
Jamhal had music in his soul. His love for music showed itself in all the genres of music he constantly played for his family and friends. After graduation he attended the LA Film School for audio engineering. Jamhal's creativity extended to his cooking where you could always find him in the kitchen making big pots of food like chili and gumbo.
He recently returned to Seattle from LA to live closer to family and friends and in particular his friends Anthony and Devin whom he loved like brothers.
Jamhal is a handsome sentient, warm loving young man who kept in touch with family and friends. "Let's keep it real" was his motto; he did not respond to insincerity or formalities and was genuinely interested in philosophical and political discussions. When he first moved to LA he enjoyed hamming it up in the LA Wax Museum of the Stars with his Grandma taking a picture with Denzel.
He is survived by his mother Jennifer A. Keat, Alvin Noble, his maternal grandparents Lynn and Rick Keat and uncles Matthew and Aaron Keat and many aunts, uncles and cousins who are all devastated by the sudden loss of his precious life.
