Of all the difficulties we face in this life. The loss of a loved one in death can surely be the most difficult to endure. We can though find a measure of comfort and support from the bible. There are many bible passages that tell us about hope and promise of a much better future as well as the wonderful promise of the resurrection. One of my favorites is found at Acts 24:15 were Paul talks about his hope in the resurrection. I encourage any that have been touched by this loss or any loss to when the time is right seek comfort from the scriptures. Please feel free to contact me with any questions. My deepest condolences to all touched by this loss

Dear Joyce, Sandi, Sheri and family,
Last week I ran into Kurt Leonard at Costco and I asked him how his grandpa and grandma were doing. He then told me the sad news that his grandpa had passed away. I'm so sorry for your great loss. Don was such a wonderful, kind and caring man and I know you will miss him so much! Hugs to all of you! God bless you!

The loss of a family or friend can be so difficult to bear. We can find comfort from our merciful god Jehovah and the beautiful hope of the resurrection that he has given us, and a time when death will be a thing of the past. We find this hope at 1 Corinthians 15:55 where it says “death where is your victory.. death where is your sting” The bible has many promises like this that give us hope of a much better life. Again very sorry for you loss I hope that you can find a measure of comfort from the hope found in the bible.

Though I know that this is a difficult time for you, my hope is that you will be comforted from God's inspired word the Bible. John 5:28,29 and Revelation 21: 3,4 gives hope of a future resurrection and the complete elimination of death, pain and mourning. Under Jesus' kingdom rule we have this and much more to look forward to. Please accept my deepest condolences.

Thank you from the alumni of the Wallingford Boys & Girls Club

The Boys & Girls Clubs lost a great friend in Don. He was instrumental in helping to create a safe place for so many young people in Wallingford. Don did this without fanfare and quietly behind the scenes and never asking for anything in return. His counsel was valuable and his solid reputation in the community opened doors for much needed support for the Club. Don will be missed. People like him don't come along very often.

On behalf of the thousands of kids that have passed through the doors of the Wallingford Boys & Girls Club we say thank you.

Bill, thank you for the very kind words. As you know, the Club was a significant part of my life as a young boy growing up in the Wallingford neighborhood. I still remember the day I was at Lower Woodland Park and I saw Club football teams practicing. I went home and said "I want to play." Dad took me to the Club and I joined. I think that was the beginning of his involvement that lasted long after we moved to Shoreline.

And I want to thank YOU for all of the time you have put in to supporting the Club over the years as well.
