Dear Carolyn, Please rest in peace. Thank you for being so patient and caring during our Floral Design Classes. You have left your footprint in my heart. My family and I would like to offer our deepest sympathies to you and your family for the loss of Carolyn. We are so sorry for your loss. Please know that you are never alone. Turn to the Holy Scriptures for guidance and to help soothe your heart. Psalms 34:18 assures us that God is near to those broken at heart and crushed in spirit. Our Creator promises that there will soon be a time when “death will be no more.” Revelation 21:4. Please accept our deepest sympathies.

Carolyn was a remarkable woman of deep faith. I give thanks that I had the privilege of knowing her as a friend. She was a courageous and inspiring advocate -- locally and nationally -- for research and support for those fighting advanced cancers. What a gift it was to share tea with her, see her amazing and award winning floral art and designs and rejoice in how she lived life with no-nonsense honesty, faith and good humor. Gone too soon, I give thanks that she is with our Lord and I'll get to see her again.
