My sincere sympathy to the family and friends of Lucille. The loss of our dear loved ones can be very difficult and distressing to cope with. It can be comforting to know that we have a great comforter- Psalm 46 : 1 says : " God is our refuge and strength. A help that is readily found in times of distress. " Along with your own good and loving memories of her can help to ease the pain of heart. Sincerely
Revelation 21 : 3-5

Having recently gone through what you are experiencing, my heart goes out to you all. The loss of a mother is great. It is a very special love and relationship that they bring to our lives. I remember your mother as full of life and personality. I am so sorry to hear of your loss.

Lucille and I went through grade and high school together. We reunited at a Franklin High school reunion and visited frequently after that. I remember when she went tito Kinney residence and about the same time I went into University House at Issaquah. Am now living at Timber Ridge at Talus in Issaquah. I remember her stories of her life in Pakistan and about her daughter who made documentaries.

I knew Lucille at Univ. Presby church. Also knew Gary (my home room at West Seattle High School) and BJ when I was a counselor at the high school .BJ, did you go on in films? Are you still in Seattle? I'd love to hear how you are doing. I'm 92 now
and in good health. Reading about your mother brought back many memories of West Seattle.

Thanks for your reflections. B.J. teaches at Antioch in Seattle and continues to produce public television documentaries. I attended the 50th Anniversary of my graduation class at West Seattle last June(1964). It was quite an event. Over the past thirty five years, I have taught as a college professor(politics and philosophy.) My parents and upbringing in West Seattle only evoke an enduring sense of gratitude.

My deepest sympathy for your loss. Aunt Lucille was one of the most delightful people I had the pleasure of knowing - full of joy and laughter. Every memory I have of her brings a smile to my face. She will be sorely missed, but I am sure her endearing spirit will live on in her children and grandchildren.

Sorry for the loss of your mother and grandmother--a beautiful, energetic, and outgoing person whose warm smile brought joy to many. Her gifted husband was very proud of her--rightfully so. .

I sent an earlier post but it might not have reached you. You have been the epicenter of the Bullert family for years. For this and many other kindnesses(including my first computer), I am profoundly grateful. My mother and father were a remarkable couple. Thanks again for your condolences.

Gary
