Sorry to hear of your loss. You can gain a measure of comfort in knowing that God knows how you feel because he also lost a loved one in death, his son Jesus Christ. God resurrected his son from the dead and in the bible he holds out a wonderful hope that can comfort us in our time of grief and sorrow. At John 5:28, 29 it tells us "the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his (Jesus') voice and come out." Yes, we can look forward to seeing our loved ones again in the very near future when Jesus resurrects them. The bible also tells us that it will be at a time when "death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away." - Revelation 21:3, 4. You can find more comforting thoughts at www.jw.org, search “when a loved one dies.”

Our hearts are full of sadness for your very deep loss & our hearts are also full of
gratefulness, knowing how deeply and totally Karen loved her Savior, Jesus. Karen was a truly amazing, talented, tender-hearted wife and mother. So very full of kindness and joy.... She will be deeply missed and you will be in our prayers as you walk forward in your own secure way, knowing without a shadow of a doubt that Karen is in her mansion that The Lord prepared just for her. I know the family has saddened hearts because of losing Karen. So I want to share these beautiful scriptures where our heavenly father promises us that he is going to do away with man's greatest enemy, death in the near future. Revelation 21: 3,4 , Isaiah 25: 8 and 1 Corinthians 15: 26. God's kingdom that Jesus taught us to pray for at Matt. 6: 9, 10 will bring about these wonderful promises. For more comforting scriptures please visit: http://bit.ly/1K38EFt. It is my prayer these scriptures will give you comfort and strength in your grief. The words in the obituary capture Karen perfectly. She was an extranordinatory wife, mom and friend. She will leave a big hole in many lives. She left us all much too soon. Our hearts go out to Cliff, Jocelyn, Scott, the rest of her family, as well as her legion of friends. She touched so many with her wit, grace and caring.
