Mom was an amazing lady. Through all these years mom was steadfast and strong. It didn't mean that see wasn't afraid, she just knew whom to lean on for her steadyness and strength. She taught all of us well in having a strong faith and trust in the Lord Jesus. She taught it and believed it and lived it. Now, it's our turn to show our kids that same life. But mom also enjoyed living. So many stories could be told of how she loved us kids, grandkids and great grandkids. I remember so well how mom would get down on the floor and play games with our grandkids. They loved it. Endless amounts of hours just playing games made such an impact on them. I remember another time when mom was visiting us we had purchased old uniforms with a gas mask for Brayden and Dylan. Mom was playing games with Dylan and decided to put on the uniform along with the gas mask as she played army with him. He thought she was great. Around and around they went through the house and here is mom with the army outfit on. (Mom was in her eighties than). Everytime we talk about that time, Dylan has this great big smile on his face. That's the impact Mom made. Kayla and Sarah remember moms' great feast she would prepare when they visited. She treated them to all sorts of southern cooking
including banana pudding (Daves favorite). They also remember great talks that they had with mom. Talks that always was so encouraging that were filled with laughter and smiles. Things that mattered to them. Mom would take the time.
They also remember her prayers. Mom had a way of lifting her prayers to heaven that seemed to reach the spirit of almighty GOD right then and their. That made such impact on them then and continues to make an impact in their future.
Thank You mom for leaving us such a legacy of faith and laughter. We look forward to seeing you in heaven. Tell Dad hi for us!
PS If you would like to hear to great songs you can check out 'If you could see me now' by Don Moen and 'I could only imagine' by Mercy me. They have been a great encouragement to us.

I am very sorry to see the passing of your loved one. I would like to offer condolences to family and friends, and share a Scripture for comfort. Psalm 37:11 says, "But the meek will possess the earth, And they will find exquisite delight in the abundance of peace." May you find comfort at present and sure hope in the future that our loving heavenly Father has promised. -John 5:25-29. Again so sorry for your loss and please visit jw.org for more hope that is found in the Bible.
