Donna T. Bajocich

Donna was born on November 16,1912 in Susak, Austria which is currently Croatia. She lived there until she was 10 years old and then moved to Brookfield, WA where her father & brothers were commercial fishermen. Donna moved to Seattle with her family when she was 15 years old to work in fruit cannery as a seasonal job. Donna started her career at Boeing during the war and worked as a "Rosie the Riveter" on various airplanes for the 37 years she worked there. After she retired, she spent her years with her family and enjoyed going to the casinos, knitting, crocheting and going to all the family's sporting events.

She is survived by her nieces and nephews, John Bajocich, Maria Penner, Donna Tarabochia, Al Bajocich, Helen Towery and Mary Bajocich. She has 12 great-nieces and nephews that got to know the strong loving person she was. Up to the young age of 101 she enjoyed every day of her life and continued to smile until her peaceful death on May 29, 2014.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, June 5th at 10:30 am at Holy Rosary Catholic Church of West Seattle. Viewing will be held at 7:00 pm and a Rosary Prayer Service at 7:30 pm on Wednesday, June 4th at Holy Rosary Chapel.
