Dear Jeannie and Julie: I am so sorry not to have contacted you sooner. We were tied up with family and missed remembering Billie in time for the Memorial service.
I have fond memories of Billie going way back to the time when she lived with Alice and "Parkie" in Vancouver, where he owned a little grocery store, as well as when she stayed with my Mom and Dad at Battleground back when my folks had a cabin on the river. In the succeeding years, we enjoyed Billie's letters and our visits.

Mom, I miss you so much. We had wonderful times together so much laughter.

Dear Julieanne, Jeannine and family . I am so very sorry to hear of the passing of your precious mom. I learned of her passing after the service. My sincere apologies that I was not in attendance. I simply did not know. I loved your momm as so many did. She was always such a true lady . She guided and mentored many of in in the neighborhood. I will dearly miss you Mrs. King๐๐
