Shirley Ann Laudan passed away peacefully on November 3rd, 2018 after battling several health challenges for 6 months. Shirley Ann maintained her sweet spirit even in the later years when she experienced dementia.
Shirley Ann was born April 17, 1927 in Tacoma, Washington. She grew up in Hoquiam, Bellingham and Seattle. She is a graduate of Roosevelt High School. She continued her education and graduated with a BS in nursing from Washington State College. She worked at Harborview Hospital and for a local doctor's office.
Shirley Ann met Phil Laudan in 1952 and they were married in 1953. She is survived by her two children; David (Sandra) Laudan and Janet Laudan, and her two grandchildren, Steven and Narthan Laudan. She is also survived by her sister Donna Jean McGee.
Shirley Ann was active in leading Cub Scouts and Girl Scouts. She taught Sunday School for over 40 years and enjoyed many other activities that involved children or women's ministries.
Shirley Ann loved serving her family and church family. She enjoyed traveling, gardening and cooking for family dinners. She also loved traveling to Loon Lake, a favorite vacation spot of the family for the last 57 years.
Her quiet, gentle spirit and smile will be missed by all who knew her.
