Mitchell Anthony MAC "Big Daddy" Caddy

Son of Louise and S. Ralph Caddy.  Loving son, brother and an RB of a friend, Mitch left us on his own terms on May 13, 2015.  Graduating from John F. Kennedy High in the school's third graduating class in 1972.  A talented Musician who played with many bands including The Midnight Sun and Friends, music was Mitch's true lifelong love.  He was a versatile musician playing guitar, bass, keyboards and vocals.  He began playing in bands in grade school, and when he was in High School his band Friends was the opening act for such artists as Tower of Power and Merilee Rush.  Mitch was a man of many talents and interests.  He was a Cobbler who could fix ANYTHING leather.  Mitch was an expert Jeopardy player and accomplished actor.  He loved road trips and followed the original Sounders in the NASL all over the West, and was an avid Totems, Breakers, T-Birds, Mariners and Seahawks fan.  Mitch was goalie for the Tug Warriors hockey team, winning the championship in his final season of play.  For all these sports Mitch was a lifelong statistician.  A shareholder in Wild Turkey and a pioneer in the Cannabis industry, Mitch embodied the childhood mantra of "sharing with your friends".  Many weekends growing up were spent with a large extended family and friends ending with a delicious Italian family meal.  Mitch made a wonderful red sauce and his own special meatballs.  He was generous, iintelligent, witty, sarcastic, talented and a known prankster.  Mitch's presence will be sorely missed.  He is survived by his sister Dawn (Mike) Gaz.  Services will be held at Holy Rosary Catholic Church4210 SW Genesee Street in West Seattle May 28th at 1:00 pm, interment at Forest Lawn Cemetery, 6701 30th Avenue SW, in West Seattle followed by a celebration of life at Angelo's restaurant, 601 SW 153rd Street in Burien.  In lieu of flowers, please send remembrances to Seattle Humane Society or Medic One in Mitch's memory.
