Juan Uribe, 76,passed away on February 24,2015 at Highline Medical Center in Burien, Washington.  He was born August 7,1938 in Canitas San Felipe El Pescador, Zacatecas, Mexicio to Estanislau Uribe and Petra Silos.  Juan grew up in Canitas, Zacatecas. At the early age of nine he immigrated from Mexico to Texas to live with his sister Rachel where he went to school and worked in the fields picking cotton, fruits and vegetables.  In 1960 he settled in and around the Gulf of Mexico where he continued to work as a farm worker for many years.  He finally moved to the state of Washington where he met Hermelinda Juanita Melgoza.  They had three boys. Juan received his H.S. diploma in 1975 and continued to work in Eastern Washington as a farm worker and received his state license for spraying pesticides.  He moved with his family to Burien, WA in 1993 where he worked as an Equipment Operator until he retired.  In 2000 he became a U.S. citizen and in 2005 he was married and baptized together with Linda Uribe in the Seventh Day Adventist Church.  His hobbies were fishing, gardening, wrestling and boxing.  Juan is survived by his spouse and companion of 43 years Linda of Burien, WA; his sons Antonio, Fermin and Mario Uribe of Burien, WA; his brother Efrin Uribe of Tamalipas, Mexico; sisters Raquel, Ester, Juana and Conception of California, Arkansas and Mexico  His sons Juan Jr. Uribe, Martin Uribe, daughters Sylvia Uribe, Sonia Soliman, Sofia Rodriquez, Estelle Gonzales, Ester Maganias,  sixteen grandhildren, twenty three great grandchildren all from Eastern Washington.
