Jay John Taylor was born in Yakima, Washington on July 16th, 1988. Jay's young soul ascended to Gods palace on August 22nd, 2014. Leaving behind his Father Scott, Mother Jenny, Brother Dillon and vast family and friends that loved him dearly. Jay was a family person. His mother had his heart and he loved her so much. He wanted no more than to be loved and be with family and friends.

Jay also loved baseball and the ups and downs of being an elite athlete and always enjoyed deep friendships with his entire baseball family from age 4 until now. Drafted by the Colorado Rockies out of West Seattle High School, Jay lived every day to the fullest. He gathered many friends from early lifetime fun with his brother and cousins to the fun of West Seattle Pee-Wee baseball where he discovered he had a love for athletics. A Metro League MVP and 1st Team All State award in High School along with two NWAACC Baseball Championships while playing for Bellevue College were highlights among his many personal and team accomplishments. Jay sacrificed a lot of home cooking to play on many fields across America chasing his dream but at the same time he loved fishing, boating, going to a game and just hanging out with his family and friends.

A Celebration of Jay's life is planned for Sunday, September 7th 2014, 5pm to 8pm at Salty's on Alki. 1936 Harbor Ave SW Seattle WA 98126.
