James Edward Arnold

Jim passed away on November 24th, 2016 at the age of 93.  Living a long life, Jim touched many hearts.  Born August 11th, 1923 in Everest, North Dakota to Theresa and Edward Arnold. Jim served in the military during World War II then went on to study architecture and engineering. Jim worked the rest of his life up to the age of 91 as an architect.  His work can be found all over King County and in other states and counties.   Jim is survived by his first daughter Laura L. Arnold and granddaughter Kyrie L. Rector.  He is preceded in death by his wife Lorraine L. Arnold and daughter Jamie M. Arnold.  Jim enjoyed and excelled at photography and magic.  At one time he was the President of the Society of American Magicians. He was well loved by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. A celebration of James' life will be held on Thursday, January 12th, 2017 from 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm at the Heritage House, 1531 Western Avenue, Seattle, Washington  98101.  Street parking is very limited however Parking is available in the parking garage located at 1531 Western Avenue (Rate is $3.00 per hour).
