Elizabeth janes (Erickson) Stasny
October 13, 1920 ~ July 26, 2015 (age 94) 94 Years Old
A West Seattle, WA resident since 1942, Elizabeth "Betty" Stasny, daughter of Verona B. (Atkinson) and Edward W. Erickson, came into this world, Friday, October 13, 1920 in Portland, Oregon and left Friday, June 26, 1015.
A registered nurse, she worked in that field in the 1950's and 1960's. Betty was artistic to the end; a painter in water color and oil, Native NW Indian carver and painter, poetess with many publications, Sumi and other oriental art work, and loved to draw flowers with Gel Pens.
She volunteered with many groups and also taught her love of art. She lived a full life of 94+ years and will be greatly missed.
Predeceased by her husband, Frank (1996) and a son Robert 2011, Betty is survived by two sons; seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
A memorial will be held Monday, July 13th, 3:30 p.m., at The Kenney, 7125 Fauntleroy Way SW, West Seattle. Ashes 2B put to rest in Goldendale, WA with four other generations.
