Doris Sidrovich, 71, died May 30, 2012, with her family by her side in Seattle, WA.
There will be a rosary held at Holy Rosary Church in West Seattle on Monday, June 4 at 7PM.
A memorial service will be held Tuesday, June 5, 2012 at 10:30AM, at Holy Rosary Church in West Seattle.
She was born October 12, 1940, in Seattle to Antonio and Margaret Sidrovich. Both of her parents emigrated from Croatia and she was very proud of her heritage and involved in the Croatian community.
Doris graduated from Holy Rosary High School. She attended college at Seattle University and later was honored to work there as an administrative assistant for over thirty years in the Chemistry Department.
A loving and committed Catholic, she attended Holy Rosary Church her entire life, and sang in the choir. Her interests included family, friends, cooking, singing, dancing, and travel. She devoted much of her time and energy as a nurturing caregiver to family members, including her mother, sister, nephews and nieces.
Doris is survived by best friend and boyfriend Gregory Dudiak, her two nephews John Stockton (Sandra) and Jeffrey Stockton (Tammy), niece Celeste Stockton (Ernie), great nephew Anton Stockton, great niece Jennifer Blake (Jerry), and great-great niece Grace Blake. She was deeply loved by her family and will be missed more than words can express.
She was preceded in death by her father, mother, sister Gilda and nephew Patrick.
